ABOUT: The Findus promenade in Hammerfest connects the city center along the seafront from Rådhusplassen all the way to Storelva. The promenade is laid out in stages as the transformation of the city center has taken place. Arctic Cultural Center, where the old Findus factory was located, with its blue luminous façade, is the most important landmark along the promenade that connects Fuglenes to the city center.

LIGHT: The overall light concept for the Findus promenade is well-functioning light in the dark, mounted on rough high wooden masts towards the water’s edge. The bay in Hammerfest offers great views and beautiful reflections. The mast is equipped with a blue LED marker at the top which helps to give the promenade its own character.
