Northern Lights Arch

“I live nearby and I want to play in the snow under the light”

(Noor AliAamin, 10 years)

ABOUT: In November 2014, Bydel Gamle Oslo invited to a competition for lighting art installation at Sørlie playground on Tøyen. The area lift on Tøyen will use light in a dark delimited area with living conditions challenges. Sørli playground is experienced in the dark at night, and here there is a great need for more light.

LIGHT: ZENISK won with its contribution “Nordlyshvelving” in collaboration with NullOhm. The light installation shows a dynamic light play inspired by the Northern Lights. The goal is to provide a visual and exciting attraction that gives color and dynamism to the playground.
