The lighting of the busiest metro stations in Oslo was upgraded in 2016.

LIGHT: 

For Sporveien, Zenisk has upgraded the existing lighting at Jernbanetorget Station. The lighting, originally designed by architect Arne Henriksen, aimed to retain the same visual design featuring omnidirectional cylindrical fixtures, but with a new and more efficient light source. The requirement for technical quality is high at Oslo’s busiest subway station.

Through a thorough design process, we identified a solution that perfectly fits the room’s layout, offering optimized light quality. This solution reduces maintenance needs while maintaining the same visual identity.
