The cathedral will be the visual center of gravity in the center of Tromsø in the dark. The lighting will create space and atmosphere along Storgata.
ABOUT:
Kirkeparken and Storgata in Tromsø are the city center’s most important urban spaces. Kirkenparken is a green lung in the middle of the city center with a lot of passage and use. The entire area is being upgraded with new decks and new design.
LIGHT:
The lighting for the area highlights the cathedral as a visual center of gravity in the whole. The church will have new facade lighting and the park will be adapted for accommodation and passage. Storgata gets modern luminaire on mast with function light and glowing component.
